Feudalism and Life in the Middle Ages

This is a social sciences project where the 2nd ESO students, in English, had to read an introductory text about the Middle Ages; then, in groups, they had to prepare a presentation about the different social classes of the time: nobles, knights, clergy, artisans and peasants. They had to find information about all the aspects of their daily life: clothes, food, entertainment, homes, families, etc. Then, each group, dressed as their chosen social class, presented it to their classmates. Here you will find a presentation that includes links to the complete project and some video fragments of its realisation.

Students could reflect about the process of doing violins and the tips given by the violin makers. These questions came up in their reflections.                                   Then, students travelled to the past and they went to Cremona in the 18 Century where the most gorgeous stringed instruments were made by Stradivarius, Amati and Guarnieri families.
